About ATX TV Mounting

ATX TV Mounting is a mobile TV installation crew based in Austin, Texas. We took the jobs other mounting companies quote high or decline, over-fireplace, brick and stone, vaulted ceilings, motorized mounts, and 75 inch and larger panels, and built the whole business around doing those well. The everyday drywall install is still on the menu; it is just not the thing we are known for.

Why the specialty focus

A general handyman carries what most jobs need: a stud finder, a drill, a fixed bracket. The difficult installs need more than that, and they fail in ways that are expensive to fix later: a bracket in a mortar joint that walks loose, a TV over an open firebox that dies in two summers, a ceiling mount screwed into drywall at an angle. We carry diamond bits and dust extraction, epoxy and sleeve anchors for every masonry type, engineered ceiling plates, backer boards, and heavy-duty brackets rated by panel weight, and we send two technicians on every large-format lift. That inventory and that process is the whole reason to call a specialist.

How we work

Prices are published, not quoted on the doorstep. The base install is set by screen size and every specialty add-on is a flat number on our price list. Anything that genuinely varies, 86 inch and larger panels, vaulted ceilings, motorized mounts, commercial rows, is confirmed from photos before the appointment, so the number you are given is the number you pay.

On the day we protect the floor and hearth, tape out the bracket position for your approval from the couch, drill with dust extraction, anchor for the material in front of us, level across the full width of the bracket, hide the wiring, and test everything before we vacuum and leave.

Insurance and warranty

We carry business insurance on every job. Commercial clients, property managers, and building concierges can have a certificate of insurance emailed before the visit. Just include the name and mailing address the certificate should list when you book.

Every install comes with a lifetime workmanship warranty. It covers the work we did: if a bracket, anchor, or backer we installed fails because of how it was installed, the return trip and the repair are on us. It does not cover the TV itself, damage from a later remodel, or hardware we were asked to reuse and advised against.

We come to you. There is no showroom to visit; the crew runs out of Austin and covers the neighborhoods and metro cities below, with the same prices everywhere.
